Value Associates’ new web-based benchmarking service allows your members to submit their financial and operations data on-line, in real time, and immediately view, print or download their tabular and graphical reports. All processing is done on-line. Updated quartile statistics and company performance measures are immediately available to your members.

Value Associates’ service is called The Executive Chart Book On-Line (ECB On-Line). ECB On-Line offers obvious advantages over your paper-based benchmarking service:

· Convenience: no paper form mailing, no returning forms, no forms processing, and no report mailings.

· Timeliness: members receive their reports immediately not six months after the end of their calendar year.

· Cost: cost savings from on-line processing are passed on to your association and association members.

· Participation: less hassle, more timely reports, and lower costs will increase participation rates.

· ECB On-Line will be available to your members on-line 24/7. Members participate at their convenience, when their most recent data becomes available and when they want reports.

· Members use Value Associates’ on-line, self-checking forms to submit their data. No data is accepted by the database until it passes Value Associates’ built-in validity and range checks. Value Associates’ accuracy and confidentiality build on over 30 years of survey experience.

· Immediately after submitting their data, members will be given a menu of tabular reports and charts. Their newly calculated ratios will be arrayed with updated group comparative statistics.

· Standard tables and color graphs may be immediately viewed on-line, printed to a local printer, or downloaded into Excel files. Starting in 2003, participants will be able to design their own tables and graphs using Value Associates’ On-Line Report Generator.

· Member data and industry statistics will be hosted on a secure web site with user ID and password protection managed by Value Associates.

· A paper option remains available for subscribers who prefer to submit their data on printed forms. Subscribers will also have the option of having Value Associates print their color tabular and graphical benchmarking reports.

^Cost

The fact that members enter their own data and process their own reports, all on-line in real time, allows Value Associates to offer ECB On-Line at substantial cost savings. Value Associates’ charge to the association or directly to the subscriber is only –

· $ 100 per year per on-line subscriber

· $ 150 per year per paper subscriber

An initial setup fee of $2,000 will be waived with 100 or more subscribers.
